Eurograv are a well-established machinery supplier to the Flexible Packaging Market. As members of the EFTA, as well as being agents for some of the worlds leading machine manufacturers, Eurograv is involved in all aspects of flexography from press development, installation, supply and know-how and today, we are proud to be supplying some of the worlds leading flexography houses.
Our mounting machine program commenced in 1993, following the large IPEX international exhibition held in the UK. Eurograv Limited received several enquiries for a flexographic plate mounter and in 1994 we delivered our first model, the Reflex. This mirror-mounting machine led to the swift development of the Reflex Focus model, which utilises Mirror, Microdot camera system and also pin bar mounting.
With a multitude of these combined machines in worldwide operation and the flexographic market talking about 'Standardisation', Eurograv saw the opportunity to introduce a totally brand new concept in the plate-mounting arena.
Not only dealing with registration, but also answering the issues put forward from the demanding European flexographic market. These being:-
To apply the tape evenly, for all cylinders and sleeves with absolutely no air bubbles or calliper variation.
To
protect the polyester during application
To apply the plate without air bubbles or stretching.
Very easy to use, keeping the operators mind on mounting i.e. No Computers. Quick and easy change of cylinders, sleeves and camera position.
It is with pleasure that we introduce a new concept in Flexographic Standardisation, the CAMIS IRIFLEX and IRISLEEVE.
The Iriflex is suitable for sleeve and conventional cylinders, whereas the Irisleeve is designed for sleeve use only.
